Whisky Valuations

Over recent years, many rare or old bottles of Scotch single malt whisky have significantly appreciated in value. As with anything rare and desirable it is imperative to know its worth. Over the last 5 years Whisky Highland have evolved a huge valuation library which is now online.

Whether valuing to determine what you should be buying or selling your whisky for, maybe you're just plain curious and have an old bottle tucked away in the drinks cabinet, the Whisky Highland Valuation library offers a unique service by providing instant valuations for full sized, unopened bottles of single malt Scotch whisky.

Click on the above bottles to view the sample valuations. Once you've created a profile, you're ready to search for your bottle/bottles in the valuation library. When you choose to have a bottle valued, it will be instantly emailed to you. The system works automatically so you can get up to date valuations for thousands of bottles any time you please (for Single Malt Scotch Whisky only).....even if you're right in the middle of an auction and don't know whether to make that final bid!

Create your profile now and receive your first 2 credits on us!

Whilst you can search the library to see what it's all about free of charge, there will be a small fee payable to obtain a valuation. Upon creating a profile you will be given 2 'credits' free of charge.

It may take up to 48 hours to apply the first 2 credits. If you don't receive your free credits within 48 hours please get in touch and we'll gladly rectify things.

This means if you are looking for valuations on a couple of bottles there's no charge whatsoever! You can also go and test the system to get used to the advanced search facility. If you're looking for more valuations, you'll be able to buy credits and obtain as many valuations as you wish.

Full instructions are be provided once you've created a profile.

Whilst whisky is a drink, there to be drunk, a bottle needs to be full and sealed to carry any value to a collector or an investor. Unless otherwise stated in the description of the bottle (eg it states the fill level as being below the neck, mid shoulder, low shoulder etc), valuations are based on the bottles being full and sealed, having a fill level into the neck, in a condition commensurate with the age of the bottle with all original packaging present. There are many other aspects which affect the value of whisky bottles, these are covered in more detail on the whisky investment page.

If you have any bottles of Scotch single malt whisky which are not contained in the library please contact us. We can still give you a valuation estimate the old fashioned way!

We hope you enjoy our library!

Should you have any questions or comments please get in touch, we always love to hear from fellow whisky enthusiasts.
